At the CITA awards, which took place at La Rural last July, Carlos Castellani has been rewarded for his outstanding career. Jorge Médica, Carlos Dowdall, Orlando Pillatti, Oscar “Cholo” Gómez Castañón and Rubén Bartolomé have also received other distinctions.
Castellani, who is presently director of “Banco Nación” (National Bank), has been linked to the sector for decades and has a strong commitment with the labor union entities of the industrial sector. In this regard, it should be noted that he has been President of the Argentine Chamber of Agricultural Machinery (CAFMA), Director of the Argentine Industrial Union (UIA), Vice-president of Santa Fe Industrial Federation (Fisfe) and Vice-president of Santa Fe Free Trade Zone.
The businessman was very happy with this reward as well as with the CITA Awards special mention which Apache received for No-till Technology in China. “Making our brand international is a goal we have been pursuing since many years ago and this is the result of our hard work.”, he stated.
And he added: “Our sector is pleased to belong and satisfy the Argentine farm. There are companies which have been working for over 80 years and they have constantly been innovating: and rewarding them will give us, the Argentines, that strength, that food production the world needs.”.
